Panel: How to prepare a paper for a prestigious journal.

Boštjan Brezovnik was born in Slovenj Gradec (Slovenia) in 1976. He studied law and in 2008 successfully defended his doctoral thesis at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law (Slovenia). He is an associate professor and lectures at Maria Curie-Skɫodowska University, Faculty of Law and Administration in Lublin (Poland); University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law (Slovenia) and New University, European Faculty of Law and Faculty of Government and European Studies (Slovenia). He is an author or co-author of over 30 scientific monographies and over 50 scientific and professional articles. In past two decades of his professional career, he cooperated in international research projects conducted by the United Nations, European Union, OSCE, Council of Europe, Open Society Institute Budapest, KIPRED, USAID, and others. He is an Editor-in-Chief of Lex localis – Journal of Local Self-Government (SSCI, SCOPUS), Head of the Editorial Board of Studia Iuridica Lublinensia (SCOPUS) and Editorial Board Member of Juridical Tribune (ESCI, SCOPUS). He is an author, co-writer and co-producer of the 8-episode TV miniseries  Inhumanum: The Inhumanity of Man. He’s currently developing documentary film projects with the aim to contribute to the culture of non-violence in the society.
