Saša Čegar, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, works at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Economics and Business (EFRI), as the holder and co-holder of several undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate courses dealing with sustainable development issues. He is also one of the main researchers of the EFRI’s Centre for Local Economic Development, where he has been involved in the preparation of numerous strategic documents and expert studies for the planning, adoption or evaluation of specific development policies at local, regional and state levels. To date, he has participated in numerous international and national scientific conferences and has published numerous scientific articles in relevant publications. Due to his scientific and professional competences, he has been an expert member of several working groups of the Ministry of Regional Development and EU funds for the preparation of regulations and planning documents for areas with special development features in the Republic of Croatia.
